However, some programs, especially College of Engineering, College of Business and anything stem related is highly competitive, almost (if not more) to an ivy league level, hence is why UIUC can be referred to as “public ivy”. Already paid deposit at UIUC, didn’t expect the offer from UW. Highly competitive any way you look at it.
